He was predeceased by: his parents, Normal Hooser and Mercidis M. Hooser (Christian); his stepfather Mercidis Schultz (Joseph); and his sisters, Carol Hooser, Violet Knapp and Delores Rosas.
He is survived by: his children, Jenna Hooser of Edon, Jarred Hooser (Alexis) of Lake Wylie, Glen "Butch" Hooser, Jr. (Jamie) of West Unity, Curt Hooser (Char) of West Unity and Bruce Hooser (Mary) of Steamboat Springs, Colorado; his grandchildren, Landon, Lawson, Ripp and Cati; and his siblings, Brenda Carter (Mark) of Camden, Jerry Hooser (Judy) of Corunna, Kenny Hooser of Bryan and Susie Farrell of West Unity.
Memorials are requested to the Williams County Humane Society.
