He was predeceased by: his parents, Lavon Albert and Helen Ruby Wehrle (Stackhouse); and his siblings, Kenneth, Edwin Wehrle and Rita Wehrle.

He is survived by: his wife Melinda S. Baughman; his son Josh Wehrle (Nickie) of Pioneer; his stepson Adam Deetz of Wolcottville, Indiana; and his siblings, Judy Strock (Doug) of Butler, Diane Burkholder (Kent) of Bryan, Linda Crawford (Don) of Edon, Janis Green (Dennis) of Bryan, Douglas Wehrle (Roberta) of Blakeslee, David Wehrle (Sandy) of Edon, Lisa Finch (Larry) of Edgerton, Brenda Mercer (Kevin) of Montpelier, Karen Hulbert (Chris) of Moulton and Kay Fritch (Brad) of Edgerton.

Due to the ongoing pandemic restrictions, recommended social distancing and occupancy for the funeral home will be observed.
