He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Bilger and Flossy Bilger (Stoneman); his wife Helen "Lucy" (Shuster); his grandson Tanner Holt; and also, Bob and Alice Beal.
He is survived by: his stepson Allen Holt of Cardington; his children, Carl Holt (Carol) of Cardington, Chris Conkle (Mark) of Mount Gilead and Sandy Schaffer (Brian) of Galion; his siblings, Dennis Bilger (Paulene) of Martel, Larry Bilger of Martel and Joyce Bilger of Marion; his close friend Chuck McGuire; and also, Roger, Linda Fletcher, Blaine and Janice Cochran. He is also survived by six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Gompf Funeral Home (440 Center St, Cardington, OH 43315). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
