She was predeceased by: her parents, Maynard Omar and Iva Edna Meier (Rowland); her sister Virginia Meier; her half-sisters, Lucille Star and Mildred Myers; and her sons-in-law, Stan Smith and George Crawford. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren;11 great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
