He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald L. Kitchen and Julia K. Kitchen (Bennett); and his sister Theyma Whitney. He is survived by: his wife Marcia M. Stantz Schooley; his children, Jeff Kitchen of San Antonio, Stephen Kitchen (Bridget) of Montpelier, Don Schooley (Lisa) of Edgerton and Shanea Herman (Rick) of Edgerton; his sister Sharon Viers (Dale) of Delta, Ohio; his brother-in-law Richard "Red" Whitney of Edgerton; and his pets, Ollie and Russ. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
