She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Carter and Ethel Mildred McDaniel Carter; her husband Mike; her siblings, Sharron Planck, Billie Stull, Jacqueline Carter and Lynn Carter; her daughter Loretta Cleland; her daughters-in-law, Holly Scranton and Penny Scranton; and her granddaughter Rachel Scranton.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Byce (Greg) of Munith, MI and Michael Scranton (Toni); her son-in-law Phil Cleland of Hicksville, OH; and her son Brian Scranton (Katy) of Wabash, IN. She is also survived by her 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
