He was predeceased by: his parents, George K. Hartley and Mary Hartley (Horvath); and his siblings, George "Bill" Hartley and Elizabeth Gulyas. He is survived by: his children, Bethany Hartley of Bryan and Scott Hartley (Nicole) of Cape Carteret; his grandchildren, Kayleigh, Chase, Micah, Marcus, Matteo and Malia; and his siblings, Clarence Hartley of Conway and Mary Ida Fry of Bryan.
