She was predeceased by: her parents, Glenn Relyea and Norma Mary Relyea (Burkhart); and her siblings, Dolores Cereghin, Janie Phlipot, Virginia, Theresa, Michael, Timothy and Mary Caroline Relyea.
She is survived by: her husband Paul Appel; her children, Kimberly Phlipot-Pollock (Michael) of Perrysburg and Jason Phlipot of Edgerton; her grandchildren, Marah Rae Pollock, Jayla Phlipot and Jemma Phlipot; and her siblings, Patrick Relyea of Defiance, Cecelia Relyea of Defiance and Ann Bachellor of Defiance.
Memorial contributions are requested to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
