We are sad to announce that on March 16, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Mary Ann Schlachter of Edgerton, Ohio, born in Fort Wayne, Indiana. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John W. Taylor and Catherine M. Taylor (Frans); her husband John Henry Schlachter; her sons, James, Donald and Carl Schlachter; and her son-in-law Donald Reitano.
She is survived by: her children, Sue Hoffman of Bryan, Linda McDonald (Bub) of Edgerton, Kathy Schlachter of North Andover, Karen Schlachter of Salisbury, Rob Schlachter of West Unity and Tom Schlachter (Kim) of Montpelier; and her sister Carol Jean Hayden of Tennessee. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Memorials are requested to the St. Mary Catholic Church or the Edgerton Senior Center.
