He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth R. Sleesman and Virginia Sleesman (Irwin); his siblings, Margaret Sleesman and Clair Sleesman; his son Rick Sherman; and his great grandchild Kyler Huffman.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn A. Cupp-Sherman; his children, Jeff Sleesman (Missy) of Edgerton, Kenneth J. Sleesman of Toledo, Anthony Sleesman of Hicksville and Debra Bushong (John) of Pioneer, Ohio; and his siblings, LeRoy Sleesman of Bryan, Barbara Sleesman of Texas, Mary Sleesman of Texas and Susan Greenwalt of Texas.
