Gary McCarty Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary McCarty of Edgerton, Ohio, born in Columbus, Ohio, who passed away on May 24, 2022, at the age of 50, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his grandmothers, Evelyn Marie McCarty and Laura Jenkins Blanton; his sister Christina Ellen Blanton; his uncle Gary Walter Blanton; and his aunt Peggy Gilliand (Blanton).

He is survived by: his parents, Charlene McCarty of Belpre, Ohio and Ray Blanton of Belpre, Ohio; his sisters, Amanda Blanton Arthur of Parkersburg and Shawna McCoy Bailey of Belpre; his aunt Christene Entenman (Marlin) of Edgerton; his uncles, Michael McCarty (Terri) of Edgerton and Mitchell McCarty of Bryan, Ohio; and his cousins, DJ Curry (Amanda), Joshua McCarty, Skyler McCarty (Katelyn) and Corey McCarty. He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
