We are sad to announce that on December 21, 2020, at the age of 81, Dwight Gilbert Sr. of Edgerton, Ohio, born in Mechanicsburg, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Amos "Leo" and Ada Roxanne Gilbert (Davis); and his sister Josephine Alire. He is survived by: his wife Patricia of Edgerton; his children, Janet Righter of Sidney, Karen Mertz (Victor) of Sidney, Kathy Simmons (John) of Bryan, Dwight Gilbert, Jr. (Suzie) of Bryan and Steve Gilbert of Bryan, Ohio; his grandchildren, Beth Sammons (Mark), Ashley Gilbert, Mindy Gilbert, Auston Simmons, Jamee Gilbert and Bradley Gilbert; and his brother Fred Gilbert of Missouri.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider memorial contributions be made to New Life Worship Center, Bryan, Ohio.
