He is survived by: his daughters, Jessie Cottrell (Christopher Whalen) of Edgerton and Jamie Yoder (Kyle) of Stryker, Ohio; his grandchildren, Kara, Laurie Yoder and Jerry Myers; his sisters, Teresa Allen of Edgerton, Lynda Cottrell of Hicksville and Dorlene Cottrell (Linda Draves) of Auburn, Indiana; and his pets, Ezra and Bear.
