With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dennis L. Bonifas of Edgerton, Ohio, born in Celina, Ohio, who passed away on August 16, 2023 at the age of 86. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Dennis L. Bonifas to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmett Bonifas and Doris Bonifas (Pfoff); his wife Janet H. Klosterman; his daughter-in-law Elizabeth Hayward-Bonifas; and his siblings, Ed Bonifas, Linda Macke and Nita Thornsberry.

He is survived by: his children, Alan Bonifas (Janet M.) of Swanton, Jo Ann Witsaman (Richard) of Edgerton, Steven Bonifas of Edgerton, Denise Stark (Douglas) of Edgerton and Dean Bonifas of North Port, Florida; his grandchildren, Dennis Alan, Katie Ann Bonifas, Leslie Ann Siebenaler, Lyndsi Lee Witsaman-Kalleberg, Benjamin Dean, Ian Alexander Bonifas, Walter A. Rush III and Travis Ethan Rush; and his siblings, Douglas Bonifas (Diane) of Celina, Scott Bonifas of Celina, Roxanne Boise (Jim) of Celina, Teri Rodriguez of Celina and Julie Hubert of Celina. He is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren.

Memorials are requested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to St. Mary School.
