He is survived by: his spouse Barbara Ann Herman; his children, Reba McCain of Edgerton, Theresa Combs (Patrick) of Phoenix, Daniel Thiel (Connie) of Edgerton, Gregg Thiel (Melinda) of Edgerton, Dean Thiel (Lisa) of Edgerton, Sonia Flower (Dino) of Edgerton, Vince Thiel (Shellie) of Edgerton and Shane Thiel (Desery) of Findlay; his siblings, Cloard Thiel (Nira) and Dolores Dangler; and his sister-in-law Margaret Thiel of Edgerton. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren.
