He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Weber and Frieda Krill (Koerner); his spouse Dema Alma Smith; his daughter Rebecca Krill Kohler; his grandson Joseph Emch; and his brother Melvin Krill.
He is survived by: his children, Beverly Emch (John) of Archbold, Bonny Justice (Preston) of Gainesville, Georgia, Joseph Krill (Rosemary) of Edgerton and Jane Thompson (Dean) of Bethesda, Maryland; and his grandchildren, Kate Presas (Raul), Andrew Emch (Laura), Jeremy Kohler (Hannah), Hannah Kohler Epley (Chad), Seth Kohler (Elisa), Kaleb Kohler (Kristen), Rebecca West (Steve), Kelly Krill Bratsberg (Geoff), Samuel Krill (Korianne), Franklin Krill (Jenni), Elizabeth Doran (Marc), Marshall Thompson Bierson (Hannah), Kendall Thompson and Grace Dema Thompson. He is also survived by nineteen great-grandchildren.
Due to the ongoing pandemic, the family will receive friends while observing social distancing precautions.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to Emanuel United Methodist Church.
