With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Barbara A. Thiel (Edgerton, Ohio), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 8, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Casimir P. Herman and Kathryn E. Herman (Batt); her husband Darrel M. Thiel; her grandson Jesse; and her sisters, Mary Kathryn Burns and Phyllis Arend.
She is survived by: her children, Reba McCain of Edgerton, Theresa Combs (Patrick) of Phoenix, AZ, Daniel Thiel (Connie) of Edgerton, Gregg Thiel (Melinda) of Edgerton, Dean Thiel (Lisa) of Edgerton, Sonia Flower (Dino) of Edgerton, Vince Thiel (Shellie) of Edgerton and Shane Thiel (Desery) of Findlay; and her siblings, Elaine Mohley of Edgerton, Donald Herman of Edgerton, Ambrose Herman (Mary) of Edgerton, Cletus Herman (Rita) of Edgerton and Edward Herman (Nancy) of Southern Pines, NC.. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren; many great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions in Barbara's memory are requested to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital or St. Mary Catholic School.
