With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Robert Smith of Eaton, Ohio, born in Oxford, Ohio, who passed away on June 24, 2024 at the age of 40. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his grandparents, Vern, Patricia Hickman, William and Clara Hickman; and his nephew Jordan.

He is survived by : his parents, Jennifer Ward and William Hickman (Tonya); his siblings, Erica Taylor (Joshua) of Camden, Mindy Pegg (Rance) of West Alexandria and Travis Hickman of Eaton; his nieces and nephews, Ryder, Alexi, Aeden, Brayden, Teagen and Slade; and his aunts and uncles, Duane Smith of Eaton, Alan Smith (Melissa) of Eaton, Greg Smith (Jodi) of Eaton, Jill Hines of Camden and Tammy Barnes (Gary) of Eaton.

Visitation was held on Thursday, June 27th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Gard Funeral Home - Eaton (226 W Main St, Eaton, OH 45320). A funeral service was held on Thursday, June 27th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
