He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Johnson and Beulah Johnson (Ott); his stepmother Vonda Johnson (Ketring); his wife Marjorie; his son Richard Johnson; his siblings, Kenneth Johnson (Mary Ellen), Dale Johnson (Margie) and Carolyn Beasley; and his great grandchild Amanda K Johnson.
He is survived by: his children, Diane Ross (Ray) and Eddie Johnson (Kathy); his daughter-in-law Pam Johnson; and his grandchildren, Shananne Middleton (Darrell), Joe Johnson (Clara), Dan Johnson, Leslie DiSalvo (Mark) and Casey Johnson (Tiffany). He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.
