She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond C. Brown and Hazel Marie Brown (Lee). She is survived by: her husband Coleman Proffitt; and her daughters, Necoleia Friend (Brad), Tia Bowling (Mike) and Colena Frame (Eric). She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
