It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita Ann Rich of Eaton, Ohio, born in Dayton, Ohio, who passed away on April 11, 2024, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard G. Wentz and Areta Joyce Wentz (Miller); her husband William "Bill" James Rich, Sr.; and her siblings, Laura Lynn Wentz, Beth Ann Shelton and Bradley G. Wentz.
She is survived by: her daughter Mia; her son-in-law Chris Hogan; her adoptive daughter Tricia Proctor; her grandchildren, Neaveh Newman, Ethan Floyd, Rylee Floyd and Cameron Hercutt; her great grandchild Dallas Gara; her brother Richard D. Wentz; her nieces, Heidi Easley, Laura Sanderson and Amanda Gabbard; and her nephew Josh Steele. She is also survived by several cousins and friends.
Rita had donated her body to science to make the world a better place.
