Max York Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Max York of Eaton, Ohio, who passed away on February 25, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenward McGinty "Max" and Ada Willetta "Billie" York (Harpe); his sister Sondra Kaye York; and his brother-in-law Bud Melloh. He is survived by: his significant other Bill Melloh; his sisters, Janice Sue Hamilton (Bill), Bonnie Rae Brock (Lewis), Shannon Lynn McGinness (Brad) and Sherri Ann McAlister; his sister-in-law Nancy Melloh; and his nieces and nephews, Michelle Ritchey, Shane George, David George, Paige Little, Amy Chambers, Nathan Combs, Chelsey Hatfield, Erin McAlister, Natasha McAlister, Jessica Lee, Jeff, Mike, Todd, Chad and Andy Melloh. He is also survived by several great nieces and nephews, an extended family and a wide circle of friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Calendar Barnes Funeral Home (220 E Main St, Eaton, OH 45320). A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Cemetery.
