He was predeceased by: his parents, John T. Sr. Lindsey and Ruth Lindsey (Spradling); and his siblings, Lillian E. Whitesell, Lois Buck, Caryl Thomas, Willis J. Lindsey and John Thomas "Jack" Lindsey, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Jewell Lindsey of Eaton; his children, Kathy Lawson (Michael) of Raleigh, NC and Doug Lindsey of Eaton; his grandchildren, Kristi Taylor Rogers (Neil), Brian, Evan, Cody Lindsey Germantown and Ronnie; his great grandchildren, Judah, Ezra, Luka, Aviana Rogers, Kyle and Theo Lindsey; and his brother Eugene Lindsey (Rosa Jean). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and their children.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at 3022 Sugar Valley Dr, Eaton, OH 45320. A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 2:15 PM at the Preble Memory Gardens (3377 US-35, West Alexandria, OH 45381).
