He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth DeWitt and Rosemary DeWitt (Latham); his sister Terri; his brothers-in-law, John Datema and Mark Oltman; and his close friend Dave Kressley.
He is survived by: his wife Barb A. DeWitt (Rasor); his children, Gary (Tina Stevenson), Duane (Kara Stevenson), Delane (Janelle Stevenson), Jana (Mike Lindaman) and Justine Brown (Jamie Morris); his siblings, Tom (Sharon DeWitt), Karen (Jim Mundt), Janelle (Rich Nelson), Billiejo DeWitt and Connie Oltman; and his close friend Betty Kressley. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild.
His contributions to the choir were a testament to his deep-rooted faith and love for worship.
