She was predeceased by: her parents, Forrest Swihart and Vivian Swihart (Layman); and also Jacob. She is survived by: her daughter Heidi; her son-in-law Greg Easley of Eaton, Ohio; her brother Dan; her sister-in-law Bonnie Swihart; her sister Carolyn Bucher; her grandchildren, Kate Bortel and John "Jack" Bortel III; her stepgrandchildren, Katie Easley and Chris Easley (Megan); her nephew Brandon; her niece Jessica Swihart; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Noah, Caden, Chad, Jamie Swihart, Tim Bucher, Alan, Natalie Bucher and Josh Smith; and also, Jocelyn, Paisley, Carter, Stacy, Mason and D. J. Bucher (Colleen Pokorny). She is also survived by cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Barnes Funeral Home (220 E Main St, Eaton, OH 45320). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at the Mound Hill Cemetery (130 Camden Rd, Eaton, OH 45320).
