He was predeceased by: his parents, Sarah Amato and Anthony Amato; his brothers, Thomas and Sam; and his former wife Harriet Amato.
He is survived by: his daughter Sarah-Beth Angel (Ben); his close friend Kathleen Rosacco; his granddaughters, Victoria Angel and Tia Riss; his great grandchildren, Raelynn and Viviann; and his sister Madeline Vartorella (late George). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
