With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael Abate (Eastlake, Ohio), born in Alverda, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 15, 2025 at the age of 93. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Michael Abate to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincenzo "James" Abate and Frances Abate; and his wife Theresa A. Abate. He is survived by: his children, Mary Frances Grebenc (Robert), Michele Greskowiak (Anthony), Marguerite Korbel (Dave) and Michael Abate, Jr. (Michelle); his grandchildren, Kevin Grebenc (Caroline), Karen Grebenc (Collin), Alyson Greskowiak, Sara Westmoreland (Johnnie), Anthony Greskowiak (Heather Foy), Kristen Korbel, Kelly Korbel, Lauren Abate, Michael and Holly Damante Abate, III (Fiancé); and his great grandchildren, Olivia Westmoreland, Julianna Westmoreland, Grace Westmoreland, Gianna Wright and Roman Greskowiak.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Jakubs-Waite Funeral Home (36000 Lakeshore Blvd, Eastlake, OH 44095, USA). A Mass will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Mary Magdalene Parish (32114 Vine St, Willowick, OH 44095).
