Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint John leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Horst and Sylvia Hughes; and his sister JoAnn Adams. He is survived by: his wife Connie Horst; his children, Shelby Horst, Jamie Ratcliffe (Tim) and Paul Horst; his sisters, Joan Horst and Lisa Hughes-Crockette; his sibling-in-law Thomas Adams; and his pet Mercedes.
