He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Gercar and Jean Gercar. He is survived by: his wife Dolores Gercar; his children, James P. Gercar, Charmaine Porter (James) and Brian Gercar; his grandchildren, Anthony Gercar, Shellie Pinnick (Chris) and Loretta Gercar; his great grandchildren, Madelyn, Clementine, Makayla, Jayden and Chase; and his sister Barb Zgnoc (Jim Zgnoc).
Visitation was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Monreal Srnick Funerals & Cremations (35400 Curtis Blvd, Eastlake, OH 44095). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Divine Word Catholic Church (8100 Eagle Rd, Willoughby, OH 44094).
