He was predeceased by: his parents, William Helt and Mary Ann Baran; and his stepfather Walter Baran. He is survived by: his wife Dumaria Helt; his children, Renee Rancourt (Alan), Lisa Helt, Jim Rogers (Sharon), Rob Rogers (Stephanie), Davina March (Todd), Kwitka DeLeva (Derek), Elizabeth Veres (Ben), Mary Helt, Dewi Harmina, Yessy (Anthonius) and Lyos; and his sister Suzanne Kirchner (Norm). He is also survived by his 15 grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Monreal Srnick Funerals & Cremations (35400 Curtis Blvd, Eastlake, OH 44095). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
