He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Serdar and Mildred Serdar (Stepanovich); and his brother Matt Serdar. He is survived by: his wife Judith Serdar (Thompson); his children, Kimberly Walters (Tim), Tracy Robinson and Brian Serdar; his sister Ann McKnight; his grandchildren, Kyle Serdar (Ashley) and Phillip Robinson; and his great grandchildren, Tyler and Tucker Berardinelli.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Christ United Methodist Church or the East Springfield Community Center.
