He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar S. Coffey, and Ethel T. Coffey, Sr. (Tolley); his daughter Karen Louise Coffey; and his brothers, Jarmon and Carmon Coffey.

He is survived by: his wife Eloise "Nancy" Coffey (Rentz); his sons, Timothy Wayne Coffey of Columbus and Ricky Allen Coffey (Kari) of Alliance; his sister Mary Moore of Florida; and his pets, Kammy and Millie. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren and many other nieces, nephews, family members and friends.

Oscar was a hard worker and a provider, he was very funny at times and Oscar loved his family more than anything. I saw that especially in how he provided for his wife and children. I am so sorry for your loss and I send up prayers of peace and healing to God the father in the name of Jesus Christ.”
