It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Guy Smoot of East Sparta, Ohio, born in Beckley, West Virginia, who passed away on December 4, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Seibert Smoot and Ruby Smoot (Gunnoe); his wife Karen Smoot; and his siblings, Helen Carte, Norma McNutt, Boyd, Clyde, Kenneth, Donald and Dave Smoot.
He is survived by: his daughter-in-law Jud Smoot (Karen); and his brother Shirley "Red" Smoot. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
