He is survived by: his wife Mary Kathryn Sommers (King); and his children, Karen Detweiler of Sarasota, FL, Margaret Miller (Dennis) of Louisville, John Sommers of East Rochester, Jim Sommers (Diane) of Shoshone Loop and Dorothy Bender of Middleburg, PA. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, and 26 great grandchildren.
