With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Pauline Phyllis Borland of East Rochester, Ohio, born in Unionport, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 26, 2024 at the age of 87. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hoy Whipkey and Gayle Whipkey Sr. (Kennedy); and her siblings, Shirley Walters, David, Richard and Paul Whipkey.
She is survived by: her husband Rodney Borland; her children, Sharon Rivers (Steve) of Augusta, Randy Borland (Mary Lou) of Augusta and John Borland (Cara) of Augusta; her brother Hoy Whipkey Jr. of Canton; her grandchildren, Jessica Crawford (Travis), Leslie Baldwin (Ira), Jill Yeager (Jake), Ryan Borland (Amanda) and Matt Borland (Amber Lilly); and her great grandchildren, Ethan, Maddison, Paisley, Lincoln, Elizabeth and Maverick.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home, Inc. (206 E Lincolnway, Minerva, OH 44657). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
