With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Francis G. Matiscik of East Rochester, Ohio, born in Youngstown, Ohio, who passed away on February 13, 2024 at the age of 81. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Francis G. Matiscik to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Matiscik and Amelia Matiscik (Repasky); and his former wife Carol Papale. He is survived by: his wife Ellen Speidel Knizat; his daughters, Mary Lynn Jackson (Terry) of Salem and Susan Martin (Michael) of Lyons, Colorado; his stepsons, Steve Knizat (Dawn) of Salem and Todd Knizat (Joann) of Lewes, Delaware; his grandchildren, Maggie Flesche (Brian), Sarah Guillette (Kyle), Captain Roger Knizat, Landrey Knizat and Tenley Jackson; and his sister Amelia Douglass of North Lima. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
