Carol M. Leforte Obituary
The memory of Carol M. Leforte of East Rochester, Ohio, who passed away on February 21, 2025 at the age of 83, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. In the sacred silence of farewell, Carol is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Carol's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Nelson and Elsie Bertha Mottice (Weber); her husband Harold Leforte; and her daughter Dawn Renee Ratliff. She is survived by: her children, Cindy Richards (Donald) of New Milford, Kelly Chaffin (Dan) of Evergreen and James Ratliff of East Rochester; her stepdaughters, Pam Kerr (Scott) of Canton and Cheryl Hart (Tom) of Minerva; and her sister Florence Clapper. She is also survived by three grandchildren and four step-grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Calendar Faith Fellowship Church (22797 Ellsworth Ave, Minerva, OH 44657). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
