It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Maxine Halas of East Palestine, Ohio, born in Montpelier, Indiana, who passed away on October 18, 2020, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Guy Jarrett and Hazel Ruth Love (Dill); her son Raymond L. Halas; her husband Louis John Halas; and her siblings, Gerald Love, Leah Love, Harold Love, Keith Love, Larry Love and Mary Jean Carver.
She is survived by: her children, Shirley Parks, Brown, Linda A Smega (Bill), Judy E Kohler, Gerry K. Kraynie (Tom), Morrison and Paul E Halas; her grandchildren, Darcy Mihalinac, Ted G. Parks, Jr., Michael J. Parks, Richard A. Halas, Raymond W. Smega, Keith L. Halas, Jessica K. Blinn, Trisha N. Deibel, Kevin F. Pflugh, Jeremy Kohler, Kayla R. Kraynie and Kelly J. Kraynie; her half-sisters, Irene Lutherbeck of Haskell, OK, Marolyn Love of Haskell, OK and Carolyn McDugle of Haskell, OK; and her siblings, Laverne Winans of Indiana, Dorothy Jester of Indiana, Margaret Slentz of Indiana, Betty Rinker of Indiana and Myron Love (Sherry) of Indiana. She is also survived by numerous great grand children, a great great grandson.
