He is survived by: his wife Juanine Crawford; his children, Tom, Jr. Schwerin (Pam Brown) and Amy Preisendefer (Eric) of Pittsburgh; his siblings, Michael Schwerin (Del) of William Schwerin, III., Alma Sanbern, Norma Jean Magness and Rose Marie Noll; and also Norma J. Whited Schwerin.
