He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter E. Kintz and Mary E. Martin Kintz; his sister Mary Lynne Macek; and his grandson Michael Lewis. He is survived by: his wife Sharri Baker Kintz; his children, Kimberly A. Lewis of Boardman, Jeannine M. Burrus of Boardman, Dionne L. Retort of New Castle, PA and Shawn M. Kintz of East Palestine; and his brother Steve Kintz of Ashtabula. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
