He was predeceased by: his parents, Guiseppe Colella and Concetta Falvo Colella; his wife Janet Elizabeth Allan; and his siblings, Belinda, Tom, Carl, Michael and Joseph.
He is survived by: his children, James Colella (Joanne) of Poland and Susan Shattenberg (Ray) of London; his grandchildren, Valerie Diorio (Dominic), Julianna Colella, Frank Colella (Jen Fuchs) and Doctors David Colella (Julie); and his great grandchildren, Gia, Sophia, Julia, Natalia Diorio, Madison, Jonathan Colella, Maximus, Samuel and Jack Colella. He is also survived by grandfather and attending all of his grandchildren's games and events with his wife.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Linsley-Royal Funeral Home (644 E Main St, East Palestine, OH 44413). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Lourdes Parish East Palestine (210 E Main St, East Palestine, OH 44413).
