She was predeceased by: her parents, George Dickson and Rebecca Taggart Dickson; her son Mark Whitehead (Howard "Howdy" Freer); and her sisters, Duira McFarland and Shirley Simon.
She is survived by: her granddaughter Farah Whitehead of East Palestine, OH; her stepchildren, Tessa Tanis (Freer) and Tedd Freer; her niece Sandra Rose (Simon); and her nephews, Dave Muransky and John Simon.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that memorial contributions be made to the Special Olympics.
