We are sad to announce that on July 4, 2024, at the age of 93, James Richard Scheuering of East Palestine, Ohio, born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George Scheuering and Evelyn Zilliox Scheuering; his son Eric Scheuering; and his brothers, George and Robert Scheuering.

He is survived by: his wife Barbara McLennan Scheuering; his children, Earl Scheuering of Greene County, PA, Nadine DeMaio of Mars, PA and Stephanie Dilworth (Michael) of East Palestine; his sister Rose Marie Hochendoner; his grandchildren, Ashley (Matt), Leslie (Brian), Erica (Vaughn), Natalie (Zach), Anthony (Taylore) and Cynthia (Will); and his great grandchildren, Mason, Jayce, Savannah, Amelia, Layla, Theodore, Leonardo, Joseph and Caleb.
