It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Howard Freer Jr. of East Palestine, Ohio, who passed away on November 27, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Oakley Sr. and Mary Helen Freer (Hughes); his former wife Margaret Jean Freer (Yoder); and his brother-in-law George S. Watson (Bub). He is survived by: his wife Rebecca "Jean" Freer (Dickson); his children, Tessa Tanis (Freer) and Tedd Freer (Katherine); his siblings, Barbara Watson (Freer), Bonita Minamyer (Freer), Bruce Freer (Mary Ellen) and Brian Freer (Sandy); and his grandchildren, Farah Whitehead, Fallon Tanis, Leela Tanis and Joshua Tanis.
