He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Murphy and Laura Warner Murphy; his wife Loretta Murphy; his son Steve Murphy; his stepdaughter Bonnie Shaw; his stepdaughter-in-law Sue Dunn; and his siblings, Beryl Murphy and Virginia Benedeck.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sharon Consalvo (John) of Beaver Falls and Lisa Murphy of Keene, NH; and his stepchildren, Robert Dunn of East Palestine and Cindy Panter (Roy) of Grand Junction, CO. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
