He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Miller and Rose Miller (Davis); and his siblings, Richard D. Miller and Barb Miller. He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Miller (Searsfoss); his children, Jonathan Miller of East Palestine, Benjamin Miller of East Palestine and Elizabeth McKeel of New Brighton; his siblings, Dennis Miller of Hawaii and Diana Van Cleve (Jeff); his granddaughter Faith McKeel; and his great grandchild Judah Paul. He is also survived by cousins and nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made in Gary's name to the East Palestine Fire Department.
