It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Andrew Proya Sr. (East Palestine, Ohio), born in Koppel, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 20, 2019, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Doris Jean Proya (McCormick); his sister Dora Macioce; his children, Andrew Proya, Jr. (Midge) of New Galilee, PA, Grace Fristik (David) of East Palestine, Michelle George (Bill) of Negley and Jon Proya of East Palestine; and his siblings, Thomas Proya (Betty) of New Brighton and Vincent Proya of Beaver Falls. He was also cherished by thirteen grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.
