It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Bertschy of East Liverpool, Ohio, born in Bridgeport, Ohio, who passed away on January 13, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Bertschy and Lela Woods Bertschy; his wife Beryldene W. Squires Bertschy; his daughters, Janet Bertschy and Karen Bertschy; his granddaughter Tere Woods Carney; and his great grandchild Cheyenne Frost.
He is survived by: his children, John D. Bertschy of West Point, Nila Bertschy Lawrence of Olmsted Falls and Lisa Carney of Canton; his grandchildren, Megan Lawrence, Loni Bialek, Rosie Marie Frost, Michael Lee Bertschy, Rachel Elizabeth Bertschy of Dennis, D. J, Caldwell, Michelle D. Caldwell, Felisha R. Kennedy, Michaelena J. Oberschlake, Lee Ann Carney and Elizabeth N. Carney; and his sister Jane Barrett (Bob) of Columbiana. He is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
