He is survived by: his sons, Richard Downard (Shirley) of Toronto and Ronald Downard (Debbie) of Elkton; his grandchildren, Terri Lynn Davis (Dan), Amber K. Ginger, Michael E. Downard (Alayna), Diane Watson (Matthew), Erin Downard and Joshua Downard (Mandi); and his sister Dorothy Duplaga. He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
