He was predeceased by: his parents, James Boyd and Iris Mary Underwood Wilson; his wife Carol J. Wilson; his brothers, Fred Lisle, Sayre Wilson and Stan Wilson; and his brother-in-law George Whitney.
He is survived by: his son Ralph F. Wilson, Jr. (Theresa) of Lisbon; his grandson Matt Andrew Wilson (Taylor Kilbert) of Columbus, Ohio.; his sisters, Rose Whitney and Mary Kay Campbell (Rex); his siblings-in-law, Kitty Phillips, Joyce Wilson, Nancy Lisle and Jim Buzzard (Janice Carter); and also Dick Clark.
